Fresh from surfing the South Gippsland coast and the South Preston bitumen all summer, MIRROR CLIPPERS will be performing a very special GOOD FRIDAY EVE show at THE TOTE (upstairs) on Thursday 2nd of April 2026 with a stellar lineup of absolute legends:

BELLHOP + MILKSICK + BB SABINA

MIRROR CLIPPERS are Naarm/Melbourne duo Daniel Brates (drums, synth, vox) and Adrien Siboulet aka SiB (guitar, bass, vox)

Somewhere between CAN, BEAK> and Thee Oh Sees, Mirror Clippers carve out a sound that is relentless, fast, hypnotic and gentle all at the same time. The pair fuse psych, doom, kraut-rock, and avant-garde into a two-piece storm of analogue fuzz-driven power rock. While both share vocal duties, Daniel anchors drums & synth and Adrien simultaneously plays guitar & bass through an original hybrid instrument — a Melbourne-made monstrosity nicknamed The Gass.

Mirror Clippers create a sound far bigger than two people should.

Their self-titled debut LP only available on BANDCAMP explores themes of love, AI betrayal, grief and release, carried by grooves that stretch from chaos to beauty in a single breath. Recorded live in just one day at Soundpark Studios in Northcote with Andrew Hehir aka Idge and mastered by Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring), Mirror Clippers’ debut album captures the raw intensity of a band that thrives on catharsis, tension and unworldly tones.

BELLHOP - BELLHOP will waste no time setting the tone with monstrous, fuzz drenched guitar, booming drums and a raw, unfiltered energy that will grab the room by the throat…

MILKSICK - Naarm/Melbourne-based psych-noise punks MILKSICK are doom preaching on a soap box, stirring up a cauldron of screaming, angular guitars and moody, dread-tinted rhythms.

BB SABINA - Naarm band BB Sabina create a distinctly original blend of shoegaze, post-rock and electronica, the band’s kaleidoscopic sound is both deeply introspective and sonically explosive. Touching on themes of identity, creativity and personal transformation, their music takes listeners into an immersive space that they can sink into.
