KILAT PRESENTS END OF YEAR XMAS SHOW AT THE TOTE
KILAT present a Christmas show at The Tote Hotel.
KILAT: Emerging from Naarm in 2021 with a potent blend of black metal fury and Indonesian mysticism, KILAT crafts a sonic assault that’s both primal and transcendent. Their relentless riffs and blast beats channel the chaos of the storm—true to their name, which means “lightning” in Indonesian—while evoking ancient folklore and spiritual darkness. Expect a performance steeped in raw energy and otherworldly intensity, a journey through both the visceral and the arcane.
Blood of a Pomegranate is the folk/industrial/noise music project of the Armenian diasporan musician and producer known as Tig Harutyunyan (she/her). Blending the sounds of dead and ressurected ancient, medieaval and late feudal melodies from historic homelands, and performing them on electro-acoustic duduk (3,000 year old sacred woodwind instrument), vocalising through galestorms, and weaving dystopian soundscapes of abject and inhumane industrial horror. Sonic necromancy to resurrect the melodies of our genocided ancestors.
Horn of the last of days. Khaos made flesh. The flickering star within the abyss who's name is Self-Liberation
NPCEDE: With razor-sharp riffs and a sound that fuses grunge, punk, and a splash of industrial, NPCEDE is all about unapologetic energy. Their gritty vocals and pounding rhythms make each performance a fierce and electrifying statement, bringing an unpredictable edge to the stage.
