Leonardo's Robot w/ SAN & Flocks at The Tote Upstairs

Keen on that post-indie pre-punk, Fugazi-shoegazi, doomscroll dreamgrunge, atmosphere n' apathy rock? Look no further than this, a curated bill of three bands each riding that sweet spot between excessive effect-pedal indulgence and Just Some Good, Tight Songs.

 Kicking things off with a loud and dizzying set of gazer rock from three piece Flocks - the Greatest, Wooziest, Noisiest shoegaze band from Bayswater's industrial estate for 12 years running.

 Singaporean four piece SAN follow, summoning swirling shoegaze and droning post-rock that is both hypnotic and elegant. Heavy, crushing and cathartic.

 Leonardo's Robot is a pre-apocalyptic art rock six piece, specialising in atmospheric altern and sombre space rock. Never the same set twice, here we find our robot heroes putting their Vibey, Dreamy numbers under the spotlight to close out the night. With all three bands playing together for the first time, and featuring unique video projections created by LR's own Jane-droid, this is one not to be missed.
