Mark Steiner is a Norwegian-American artist, producer, singer and guitarist who relocated to Oslo, Norway shortly after the towers fell in his native New York City. Since 2006, Mark Steiner & His Problems has toured Norway as well as large parts of the world, both solo and with various incarnations of this band. Steiner has played several Australian tours - in fact, this year will mark his 6th visit down under.

The new Mark Steiner & His Problems album, BLACK HOLE,” was finally launched worldwide on 26. January 2024, and was recently made available on limited edition 12" vinyl through Norwegian label Rabben Records. More info: http://marksteinermusic.com

 

Steiner is now looking forward to returning The Tote Hotel this time with Czech violinist Pavel Cingl in tow. This will be the first tour down under since 2017, and tonight’s performance will mark the last of the tour, and the only full band show. Special guests on rhythm and other instrumentation will include Pange Niemoller on drums, Jeff Hooker on bass, and Julitha Ryan on vocals and keys. Also featured on tonight’s “Farewell to Oz” bill are legendary  special guests Kim Volkman & The Whiskey PriestsJP ShiloJulitha Ryanand Eden.
