Camomile’s fresh take on the shoegaze and psychedelic traditions is coloured by lush guitars and infused with dreamy, earnest vocals. By drawing from many diverse influences and utilising a collaborative songwriting process, the band has carved a sonic identity uniquely their own.

This April 9, they return to the Tote bandroom to put on a show in celebration of their new single “No Exit” - the first track to be released off their upcoming self-produced debut album (more details to come soon).

The night will be further soundtracked by two of Naarm’s other great live acts, Callystha and 40th Parallel.

Bouncy indie/alt-rock diva, CALLYSTHA (•kal-ISS-tuh•) blends big guitar riffs and sharp melodies for all the silly geese waddling around Naarm Melbourne and the world. Drawing inspiration from artists like Deerhoof, Talking Heads, and The B-52’s, the 25-year-old Naarm-based singer/producer has a stockpile of goofy indie-rock bangers ready to launch in early 2026. This Jakarta-born rising star of Naarm is on the loose — and one to keep an eye on.

Experimental-rock collective 40th Parallel formed in their hometown of Albany, WA, over a shared passion for jazz, shoegaze, and electronica. Blending vulnerable lyricism with experimental saxophone and post-rock inspired guitar work, their sound takes inspiration from, and has drawn comparisons to cult favorites like King Krule, Radiohead, Crumb and Stereolab. Since relocating to Melbourne in 2024, the band have found themselves focused on playing local shows while writing and recording their debut album.
