GRUMPY takes on The Tote upstairs band room for the first time to show off a brand new original set of jazz-adjacent music that is as exciting as it is poignant, and as polished as it is spontaneous. 

GRUMPY is a six-piece fusing acid-jazz, neo-soul, funk and cheeky laughs into a seriously good time. Inspired by sounds of Hiatus Kaiyote, Koop, and Esperanza Spalding, they layer lush vocals and saxophone over dangerously-impeccable grooves. Turn your frown upside down when you hear GRUMPY1!1!

STONED APE THEORY are an adventurous contemporary 4-piece funk-jazz-fusion-house band straight from the inner bowels of Melbourne. They are on earth with the sole purpose of making you groove all night long!

Whicker is a four-piece from naarm/melbourne, creating jazz influenced-dark pop music inspired by fiona apple, portishead, pj harvey and the like.
