Dopey Mick EP Launch w/ NoTurns + Feelings

Less than a year after first putting stuff out into the world, Naarm four-piece Dopey Mick are launching their self-titled debut EP at The Tote on Saturday, August 23rd.

They’ve been slowly building things since October 2024 — putting songs online, playing gigs around Naarm/Melbourne, and figuring it out as they go. Now, just after recording their second EP, they’re ready to celebrate the release of their 7-track debut — out on cassette through Sludge People (Philly).

Kicking off at 3pm, the afternoon will be celebrating local indie rock. They’ll be joined by their friends: Melbourne’s NoTurns, who’ve been making a name for themselves this year with a bunch of tight shows, and Feelings, who recently arrived from NZ and are already making things happen.

It’ll be a good time. Dope songs, dope people, dope venue. Come hang out, listen to some music, and help celebrate a thing that actually got finished.
