Coming off the back of their 2024 debut ‘Welcome to … The 1980s’, the new EP sees the band doubling down on their wall-of-sound aesthetic while sharpening their songwriting into something fiercer and more anthemic, having been recorded at the sadly missed Head Gap studios by Finn Keane (Courtney Barnett, Augie March, Gold Class), mixed by Matt Voigt (Cat Power, Midnight Oil, Hoodlum Shouts) and mastered by Chris Downer (Cool Sounds). To support the EP’s recent release, “The 1980s” will bring their trademark avalanche of indie rock guitar goodness and lush shoegaze atmospheres to The Tote, with an added post-punk ferocity and surging rhythm section characteristic of the new EP. “The 1980s” is living proof of the maxim ‘if it’s too loud, you’re too old’! “The 1980s” will be joined at The Tote by the ever-awesome “Chloe Booth” and the very cool “Lipstereo”
