Girls With Gut Issues is the collaborative project of singer Erika Fedele and “synth-guy” Daniel Gell, after meeting in university, the two spent the better part of 2 years honing their take on electronic and synth-based pop music and are now here to celebrate the release their debut single “Under the Ground” upstairs at the Tote on the 1st of August at their debut headline show. The duo combines their love for 80s synthesizer bands, their fondness for sampling, and the emotions of heartache, loss, betrayal, and stomach pains.

For this undertaking they will be joined by electronic/hyperpop singer and producer Gallagath, fresh off the release of his album “The Future Is Now, Old Man!”, his music is fun, sentimental at times, and manic at others, but always packed to the brim with hooks and excitement.

Also joining them is an intimate solo performance from the Mirrors’ frontman Jay Palomares Callander. The Mirrors have been creating ethereal and moody post-punk for years now, having recently completed their first international shows in Asia, and independently released their latest single “On My Mind”.
